Five phases where projects worth millions get stuck. What NetzNow handles today. And where something is still in development, it says so.
What happens
The documents are compiled in compliance with VDE-AR-N 4110 (medium voltage) or 4120 (high voltage). Each of the around 850 grid operators has its own forms and portals. Completeness determines how quickly the case gets moving.
Where it stalls
If a detail is missing, the query only arrives weeks later. Every query loop costs weeks and blocks everything that comes after.
What NetzNow handles
What happens
The grid operator assesses grid compatibility and raises queries. From this point on, query and resubmission deadlines are running. Miss one and your project moves to the back of the queue.
Where it stalls
An unanswered query means the project stands still. The correspondence sits in personal inboxes, and anyone not on the distribution list is in the dark.
What NetzNow handles
What happens
The connection confirmation arrives, and the capacity has to be reserved. Confirmation and reservation deadlines run in parallel across multiple projects and grid operators.
Where it stalls
A lapsed reservation means the procedure starts over from the beginning. Months of groundwork are gone, and the capacity goes to the next in line.
What NetzNow handles
What happens
The plant is built. In parallel, documentation, test reports, and the plant certificate come together: project developer, EPC, and certifier all need the same documents, and the grid operator expects them complete.
Where it stalls
Evidence sits scattered across inboxes, folders, and the EPC. Requests for missing documents arrive shortly before commissioning, exactly when there is no time left.
What NetzNow handles
What happens
Register the commissioning, enter the plant in Germany's Market Master Data Register (MaStR), demonstrate conformity. Only once everything is in place does power flow, and revenue with it.
Where it stalls
The plant is finished but not allowed to feed in because a document or a registration is missing. Every day of delay costs revenue: for projects worth millions, quickly a five-figure sum.
What NetzNow handles
We are building this phase right now, together with development partners. Build with us →
Project developers, planners, EPCs, and certifiers: one shared record instead of scattered email threads. What that means for your role:
For project developers → · Planners → · EPCs → · Certifiers →
For partnerships, press, general enquiries, and hiring.
Development partnerships for what's in development. Deployment today for what's live. 20 minutes is enough to start.
